Gaga Drama

Oh my god drama.

So I was waiting for a sign to tell me I am meant to go to this Lady Gaga Concert tonight at Madison Square Garden.

Connie and Felix went the other night and had a blast, and I've only heard rave reviews.

Well at 10am this morning I had my sign. Someone emailed me to book a one-look headshot session. $375 covers a Gaga ticket.

Or so one would think.

I looked on Stubhub and the cheapest GA (General Admission) ticket was $278. I bought it.

I was SO excited. Giddy.

Then about an hour ago I was like...hmmmmm....I never received a confirmation email from Stubhub, even though I saw that the $278 had been deducted from my paypal account already.

I decided to call Stubhub to clear things up.

Turns out, MY TICKET DIDN'T CLEAR.

So here I am down $278 and ticketless.

And tickets had now jumped up to $350. For a stupid General Admission ticket that at face value costs $72!

I NEVER yell at customer service people, but I SCREAMED at this poor girl at the other end of the line.

"FIX THIS!!!!" "HOW CAN THIS BE???" "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!!"

She told me she'd be able to waive the service charges and delivery charges so it would reduce the price slightly to $333 or so, but I'd have to run up to the Stubhub office in Times Square to grab the ticket last minute.

I pulled some hair out of my head. Let out one last angry groan. And said, "fine."

So I went to Times Square.

And I picked up my ticket.

And somehow, emblazoned across the top of my General Admission ticket, were three of my favorite letters.

V.I.P.

I literally had to sit down.

My hands were shaking. I thought I was going to cry.

I think...I'm going to cry.
