Fashion Show!

So I thought brunch attack was going to be my big event of the day Thursday, but Naia texted me that she had a plus one for the GenArt Fashion Show and being a professional starf*cker that loves anything with a red carpet I said where when how yes kthxbi....



There were lots of models on display, and the theme was something about Plastics Making Everything Possible. Which is true. Plastic IS wonderful. From boobs. To chin implants. To those wonderful little rings that both hold my soda cans together and asphyxiate otters in the forest.



The show was hosted by Kaley Cuoco who is some kind of C-list tv actress.



First phase was ok.






The girls were wearing weird little head adornments. Whatevs.





2nd phase of the show the girls all had crimped hair and looked FIERCE.






Then there was a mens phase which featured a mix of weird looking and good looking guys.





And things got strange when girls emerged with their hair tied around their faces like creepy moustaches and they all had scary eye makeup on and nipple accessories.




Naia rikey.



AND THEN a male ballerina came out and did some silly twirls.



Hirarious.



Anyway yeah, that was it.

Afterparty was sweet too. Lots of girls from Top Model were around. Gorgeous people everywhere.

On the eve of the VSFS 2008

Tomorrow marks one of my favorite events of the year: The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

If I were home in LA, I'd probably be having an HD viewing party.

But alas, I am not. And I will be watching the show on a tiny little 19-inch sad excuse for a television.

To celebrate the occasion, let's take a look back at last year's show, when the Spice Girls launched their epic comeback:

Oakley Fashion Show

So Nina's best friend Alessandra designs shoes for a company called Goka. I believe it is her own company.

Alessandra could not attend the Oakley swimwear fashion show being held in LA and so gave her front row VIP seats to Nina.

Nina got stuck in NYC auditioning for All My Children and gave her tickets to me and Annie.

Yayness all around.







The only celebs I recognized were Kelly Hu (Hot hot hottttt) and Q'orianka Kilcher (Pocahontas in The New World with Colin Farrell)



The models were pretty smokin'.





Afterwards we went to Swingers for tuna melts/burgers.

Me like me some pretty girls that EAT!

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2006

Did anyone else watch it?

I have it on my TiVo if you missed it.

It was pretty sweet.

They opened with, what else, SexyBack.



Giselle has never really been one of my favorites (probably because she dated that turd of man DiCaprio for so long), but I have to admit she looked pretty stunning.



Also unbelievable beautiful?

Alessandra Ambrosio.



My only complaint was the gratuitous cutting to Paris and Nicole in the front row.

Otherwise though? Well done.



JT's performances were also fantastic.



I can't wait until I get to go to the show.
